Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) BA/Specialist (Syd, Mel or Bris based) Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology) Icon Agency is a leading integrated communications agency with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, and Brisbane. We are seeking an experienced Measurement and Evaluation Specialist to join our team to provide organisational-wide business support on specialist MEL knowledge to develop and implement Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning systems . The position aims to enable a streamlined and consistent approach to organisational and client impact. The role will focus on developing MEL frameworks and foundational documents, supporting evidence-driven submissions, developing internal reporting capabilities and capacities, developing and implementing the CRM system and drive the data collection uptake across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Developing an organisation-wide MEL framework and related supporting documents Implementing and leading the adoption of the MEL framework across the organisation Streamlining sales, implementation and reporting processes to effectively support a comprehensive client support system and capture the impact narrative across Icon services Coordinating contractual reporting requirements, data analysis tools and visualisation processes for management and reporting functions Proactively responding to clients' needs in terms of compliance and data requirements Developing and implementing an internal capacity-building strategy and tools to uptake MEL systems to manage clients' outputs and impacts. Contributing to new funding/sales submissions and planning activities Working with Icon business units to ensure MEL activities and systems contribute to quality improvement and service efficiencies Provide technical input and build service evidence to support Icon Strategic Plan Skills and Experience Required: A bachelor or above in social science, impact measurement or data analysis Minimum 3-5 years experience working in MEL related roles Experience leading monitoring, evaluation and learning strategies, systems and processes at an organisational level Significant knowledge and experience in designing and implementing MEL frameworks, theories of change, program logics and systems Proven practical experience developing and implementing CRM systems within an organisational context Experience in service design and submission development Ability to effective support organisational culture to adopt a purposeful approach to data collection and client support Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels Demonstrated proficiency in data collection and analysis tools and softwares Strong analytical skills and experience working with quantitative and qualitative data and tools Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce engaging reports and translating data into impactful stories across a wide variety of contexts. Experience or knowledge working with media and communication reporting structures and tools Experience in working within creative and fast paced environments Knowledge of behavioural science approaches Why Icon?
