You will be part of a growing, innovative, local Aboriginal Corporation that operates with the guidance of Hedland Aboriginal Strong Leaders.We are currently looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer to fill vacant positions for our existing and new programs.Salary sacrificing available.Ongoing training and development.Laptop and mobile phone.Make a difference in the lives of the Hedland Aboriginal community.Key Accountabilities:Designing and implementing MEL frameworks that are appropriate for the project's objectives and context.
This involves identifying key indicators, developing data collection tools, and ensuring that data is collected in a timely and accurate manner.Developing and implementing data collection and management systems that are effective and efficient.
This involves identifying appropriate data collection tools and methods, training project staff and stakeholders on data collection, and ensuring that data is properly stored and managed.Analyzing and interpreting project data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
This involves using statistical analysis tools, creating data visualizations, and reporting on findings to project stakeholders.Undertaking regular performance field visits to obtain beneficiary feedback, perform data quality verifications, and identify challenges, key success factors, and lessons learned.Reporting on project outcomes to project stakeholders, including funders, partners, and beneficiaries.
This involves preparing regular progress reports, impact reports, and other project-related documents.Ensuring that the project adheres to the funding agreement and applicable regulations and best practice guidelines.
This involves staying up to date on industry trends and best practices, ensuring the project staff are trained on these practices, and making recommendations for improvements to MEL systems and processes.Completing other duties as necessary and assigned by the line manager.Qualifications, Experience and SkillsQualifications:Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a relevant competency area, including statistics, economics, or similar.Working with Children Check (current).National Police Check (not less than six months old).Experience:Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and learning for social service projects or similar.Skilled and experienced in using a range of quantitative and qualitative research methods.Skilled and experienced in communicating research and/or evaluation results to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums and channels.Minimum two (2) years of data collection experience.Other Essential Requirements:Current Full C class license.A National Police Certificate no more than 6 months old.You are encouraged to apply if you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.Julyardi Aboriginal Corporation reserves the right to commence shortlisting and interviews prior to the closing date.Julyardi Aboriginal Corporation is committed to ensuring a workplace free of discrimination.
