The Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP) Support UnitVanuatu-Australia Education Support ProgramAustralia AssistsThe Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP) Support Unit The Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP) is Australia's largest and most significant infrastructure investment in the Pacific. This $4 billion infrastructure initiative is actively engaging with countries in the region to significantly boost Australia's support for infrastructure development in Pacific countries and Timor-Leste.
The AIFFP is managed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, with support from Tetra Tech (the Support Unit). The AIFFP Support Unit provides advice and services to support the delivery of the AIFFP and its objectives.
Vanuatu-Australia Education Support Program The VAESP II is funded by the Australian Government's aid program and implemented in cooperation with the Government of Vanuatu (GoV). The program includes two components:
Targeted support to Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) to implement the Vanuatu Education and Training Sector Strategy (VETSS);Provision of the Australia Awards Vanuatu Scholarships and professional development and networking opportunities for alumni.Australia Assists Australia Assists is an Australian Government funded program that deploys technical specialists to work with governments, multilateral agencies, and communities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and the effects of conflict.
Australia Assists draws from a stand-by roster of technical specialists, reflecting the skills and experience required in the multifaceted contexts of humanitarian preparedness, response, and recovery.
