About the Role
As a Contracts Administrator , you will join our commercial team on a 2/1 roster and be responsible for the development and management of project budgets in conjunction with the Project Manager and Commercial Manager.

In addition, you will be required to ensure timely preparation and submission of claims, as well as ensuring that all aspects of the head contract are fully administered.
Some of your other key tasks will include:
Identify, prepare, submit, and negotiate head contract variations and contractual claims.
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, notice of delays and extension of time requests in accordance with the Head Contract.
Draft, award, administer and manage subcontracts.
Ensure subcontracts are correctly administered.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will hold tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or other relevant discipline and have 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
You will be able to demonstrate your experience in managing all aspects of construction contracts including but not limited to the timely submission of notifications, preparation and submission of monthly progress claims, contractual claims, and general administration of the contracts.

In addition, you will also be able to demonstrate the following:
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Excellent measurement and quantity take-off skills.
Excellent budget control and cost management skills.
High-level attention to detail to work with, and accurately capture data.
Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain good record-keeping skills.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise and multitask.
