This position is fixed-term for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Hours are flexible, but you must be available to work at least Monday, Thursday and Friday, totalling 22.8 hrs a week.
Responsibilities: Provide administrative, payroll and procurement support to Civil Infrastructure managers and employees.
Perform a range of database systems processing and administrative functions through input, maintenance and reporting of data within various HR systems and communication tools.
Coordinate equipment acquisition and supplies ordering for the team.
Coordinate, deliver and assist in the implementation of administrative programs and functional initiatives across the section.
Create and process purchasing transactions in accordance with Customer Service Level Agreements.
About you: Experience in administrative support and related areas.
Substantial level of skill in working in a team environment that is results oriented and demonstrates core organisational values of leadership, customer focus, creativity and innovation and respect for people in all actions.
Substantial level of organisational skills including meeting deadlines and providing a quality, professional service to meet customer needs.
Substantial level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Sound level of analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Sound computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs to enhance administrative support.
Ability to work as an effective member of a team and build relationships for results.
Substantial level of skill in processing information in relevant computer systems.
Substantial knowledge of processes relating to financial and procurement management systems.
SAP experience is preferred but not essential.
