Position descriptionWe seek an enthusiastic Administration assistant to join our vibrant Molecular Genetics department in Macquarie Park. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:
Addressing telephone enquiries for DNALabs , NIPT, carrier screening and many other genetic testsCarrying out administrative tasks for genetic testing, such as gathering information from patients and doctorsUnpacking and processing of specimens in a timely manner in accordance to strict legislative guidelinesRecording key information in our databases and carrying other duties as directed by management.Laboratory aide dutiesIdeal candidateStrong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Word Suite.Is open to working full time hours rostered Monday to Friday, between 6:30am to 6pm.Tertiary level of studies in ScienceA hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic.Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a team playerStrong attention to detail with good time management and customer service skillsApplications Applications, including your resume, should be emailed to the Human Resources Department , quoting reference (R24063) in the subject line of your email by 1 October 2024.
