This role will serve as a Modern Workplace Engineer with a strong emphasis on Microsoft-based solutions. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting Workplace and Collaboration services (Modern Desktop devices, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, M365, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams, voice/video, AV/VC, etc.) aligned with Microsoft offerings and other select providers. The role will translate strategic direction and defined solutions into detailed designs and implementations.

About the roleJoin our dynamic team in our technology Division. As the Modern Workplace Engineer, you will:
Support workplace and collaboration solutions and ensure escalations from the support desk are dealt with or escalated as requiredDefine and uplift support processes for in-scope servicesWork with the Modern Workplace Lead, other leads, and managers to develop detailed design documents for new and existing servicesDeliver proof-of-concept prototypes that assess the feasibility of solutions and servicesDocument defined comprehensive Workplace and Collaboration policies and standards aligned to Perpetual security policiesDeliver key automation artifacts which contribute to the development of the automation and orchestration practiceWrite and update documentation, standards and procedures for all critical Services and solutions, including Standards & Guidelines, Management Plans, System and Technical Configuration DocumentationImplement technical solutions according to approved designs adhering to change control practicesMaintain and support solutions on an ongoing basis using automation or well-defined processes About youWe're looking for someone with:
Minimum of three years of experience in IT roles with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role specifically working on Workplace and Collaboration technologies and solutionsExperience in securing cloud-based solutionsGood knowledge and understanding of Workplace and Collaboration technologiesExperience in working in a multi-vendor environment would be advantageousExcellent attention to detail to ensure information is accurate and currentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and consultative skills, and the ability to communicate concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesExhibit excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectivesUnderstanding of regulatory requirements for financial institutions such as APRA, ASIC, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Privacy and GDPR is desirableKnowledge of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001 is desirableExperience in providing architectural services in an agile project environment is desirableMust be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills How we workOur unique culture is underpinned by our three organisational behaviours, Stretch, Own it, Make an impact which drive our approach of day-to-day interactions with colleagues and clients; the way we approach decision-making to the questions we ask and the problems we solve.
