If you're inherently 'hands-on', design focused, practical, innovative, enjoy seeing things being made, and have an itch to be on the forefront of technology, this would be a great place to work. The role Work alongside a Project Engineer to design hydraulic elements to be used in hydraulic services design. End parts will be used in hydraulic systems for hospitals, commercial buildings, aged care projects, schools, and industrial facilities. Use software compatible with AutoDESK to create. Liaise with hydraulics design engineers and plumbers to create your vision. With support, move your pre-fab designs into production. Test and test some more. Work with others in the team to fix errors and improve quality. You You may now realize this is a pivotal role in the company's development. We are looking for someone a little entrepreneurial, someone who understands piping systems, detail, Australian standards, who can calculate dimensions, visualize offsets, and create working parts (with a supportive team).
It is likely you have a mechanical drafting or design background. You may have previously (or currently) enjoyed product design in your studies.
Local Australian experience is critical as is someone willing to express ideas. Communication will be key here.
You'll be paid according to experience, likely between $90k and $110k p/a plus Super.
