JOB DESCRIPTIONWood is recruiting a Mobilization & Travel Administrator as part of our strategic growth plan for 2024 and beyond. You will join our Operations business in a pivotal role as we partner with a major player in the Oil & Gas industry on a major brownfields Engineering Service Contract. Step up into a dedicated client contract team working from the client's office, based in Perth CBD. This is a permanent role and is available as a full-time / part-time (job share) basis.Wood's "Operations" APAC West business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.At Wood you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognized industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities.RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to the Discipline Manager in Construction & Commissioning and with the guidance and mentoring support from the Lead Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the offshore Mobilization & Travel team for one of our key Oil & Gas clients.
You will be responsible for:
Assist the team in the onboarding and mobilization process to all offshore employeesMonitor and maintain compliance with Offshore travel, training compliance and booking for Trade & Craft workersBooking and arranging inductions and training requirements for new and current employeesOrganizing and managing travel arrangements for clients, vendors, and employees such as flights, hotel accommodations, car hire/ taxisCoordinating with Client agents and other service providers to ensure that all travel needs are metTracking and maintaining company travel issues, policy compliance, and generating reportsHandle any travel-related emergencies or changes, providing timely solutions to ensure minimal disruption.Assist Contract Manager preparing reports, room booking etc.In this highly visible client facing role, your dual focus on relationships and delivery will be essential.
QUALIFICATIONSYou must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role and reside in Perth, WA.Ideally, you are an independent, career focused, office based professional with 2+ years proven administration experience. A Business & Administration Certificate II along with some industry experience within Oil & Gas / Mining / Building / Construction is also advantageous (not essential). In addition, you will be:Detail focused with strong administrative skills, typing with speed and accuracyAn intermediate to advanced IT user and experienced in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams)Ready to commit to a long-term career within the Western Australian resource industryA team player, always have your teammates back and understand you must work together to winPunctual, reliable, conscientious, courteous and care to go the extra mile to make the differenceA problem solver with a "solutions mindset" who never gives upOrganized and have an ability to manage a range of tasks with changing / competing priorities while still delivering results - all at a fast pace!What will set you apart is your proven experience in being an agile team member and an excellent communicator.
