Hanson are seeking a safety conscious and enthusiastic Mobilisation Technician to join its National Mobile Projects team primarily working within its Western Region mobile operations.

This is a full-time position with extensive travel.
Reporting to the Construction & Asset Manager you will travel the country as part of a small and dedicated team, both FIFO & DIDO, to mobilise and maintain a large fleet of mobile concrete plants to all corners of country Australia.
You will also be heavily involved in plant maintenance tasks to ensure the plants are fit for purpose, ready to go and keep going.
Working a 3 and 1 or 2 and 1 roster, you will be based in Perth during non-travel.
In your new role with us, you will: Mark out / Set up & Install Mobile Plant & Equipment as per construction drawings Help set up and commission plant automation systems Work hands on in both a team and a solo environment Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relative Safety standards Ensure all work conducted adheres to the Quality standards Continue to grow your skillset through formal training, hands on learning, and on the job mentoring.
This role is a great fit for you if you: Hold a current C Class Driving Licence (HR preferred) Hold a current High-Risk Work Licence in Rigging (preferred but not essential) Hold a Current Construction Industry Blue/White Card Are somebody who likes a challenge, likes working with their hands and likes getting involved Must be comfortable working away from home as the job requires a great deal of travel Are flexible in your roster, and are willing to work overtime Have a provable ability and commitment to work within a safety-first environment Are confident using windows-based computer systems and software, particularly Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel Have other highly regarded skills - Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space, Basic Welding, Wheeled Loader Operations What we offer: You will be rewarded with a competitive and attractive hourly rate with associated penalty rates and allowances.
