Mobile Skin Check/Cancer Screening Nurse / Dermatoscopist / Melanographer About HealthPlex HealthPlex is a rapidly growing team consisting of multiple medical and allied health disciplines that are passionate and dedicated to improving the quality of life of others. We provide occupational health services and onsite workplace health screening to companies and government councils. This includes:
Performing skin checks and image lesions using a Dermascope/Dermlite (these will be provided) Taking photographs of any suspicious lesions Providing referral with report/photograph to client to follow up with their regular GP or Specialist if needed Providing health education to assist clients in managing skin cancer risk This is a flexible role available as a casual or part-time with the opportunity for a full-time role Provide skin checks (with a dermascope/Dermlite – screening only, no diagnosis or biopsies), and other clinical assessments as required Key Responsibilities: Conduct client assessments & provide results on various tests depending on your experience and interests. Ability to refer clients to GP's/Specialists as per our procedure Work independently and efficiently Deliver individual and group sessions Liaise with multiple stakeholders regarding patient care. Ability to work in multiple sites with different clients Key Requirements: Nursing qualifications (EN/RN) with current AHPRA registration or Dermal Clinician (Bachelor of Health Science) or Certificate in Melanography Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both a clinical and non-clinical perspective. Strong client focus & excellent communication skills Attention to detail A high level of integrity and professionalism Unrestricted driver's license Complete COVID Vaccination status Police check and WWCC (or willingness to obtain) Experience in Occupational health assessments (Preferred) What to expect from us?
