JOB DESCRIPTION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Interface with relevant departments to obtain a thorough understanding of NOV products and how they are safely operated, tested, calibrated and problems are resolved in a timely manner.Travel to customer sites to inspect, install, commission, test, calibrate, repair and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products.Remove and re-install mobile rig components.Repair of mobile rig components.Use hand tools and be able to correctly setup and operate applicable shop machines.Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system.Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.Utilize Safe Work Habits.Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and components.Troubleshooting existing electrical systems.Testing electrical systems and components.Identifying and resolving electrical malfunctions.Maintaining and repairing electrical systems.Reading and interpreting diagrams and technical drawings.Keeping records of maintenance and repair work.Install, diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems in Mobile Well Service Units.Test and replace faulty electrical components such as fuses, relays, wiring and switches.Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures and components of motor vehicles.Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of electrical systems.Identify and diagnose faults in electrical systems.Communicate effectively with customers when discussing automotive problems and solutions. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.2-5 years' electrical experience required.J1939 circuitry experience.Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings required.Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.Must be proficient in 12 volt and 24-volt complex automotive systems.Must be proficient in building wiring harnesses up to 100' long.Must be able to terminate a complex 12 volt or 24-volt electrical system using schematics.Microsoft Office knowledge is required. JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.Valid Driver's license required - as you will be operating a company vehicle.Must provide transportation from home to the office. Transportation to customer's location will be provided.Overtime will be required - must be willing & able to work nights, weekends, and on-call 24/7.Some travel to field sites will occur, resulting in overnight stays.Must obtain NOV corporate credit card and maintain an active status per NOV credit card policy.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems in vehicles and repair.Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.Superior interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to interact effectively with customer and contractor personnel.Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Must be willing & able to work in harsh environments including rain, snow, heat, and heights in excess of 150 feet.
