As a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) Dermatologist, you will deliver modern comprehensive specialist services in Dermatology to ensure optimal patient outcomes, while also supporting training for clinicians across multiple disciplines to promote quality education and safe clinical practice.
Wagga Wagga is the largest inland city in NSW and hosts the region's largest private hospital, Calvary Riverina Hospital, alongside the new 325 bed Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, a major regional referral hospital.
Located centrally between Sydney and Melbourne, it offers a convenient 1 hour flight or a short drive to access almost 11 million people across Australia.
Canberra is just a 2.5 hour drive.
Our dedicated team of 130 Medical Specialists provide care to a catchment population of 300,000 and we are eager to recruit an additional Dermatologist to meet growing demand.
Opportunities are available in both public and private hospitals, consulting rooms, and academic appointments at our two clinical schools, the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA) and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Rural Clinical School.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
