Contact Prof Lenert Bruce, Executive Director, Medical Services on ****** to arrange a confidential discussion.Selection Criteria:Current unconditional registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine or Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary governance systems and processes associated with the provision of health care services.Demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with the community, senior health professionals, management and staff, health interest group representatives and senior executives of government agencies.Demonstrated high level of skill in the analysis of complex medical policy and planning issues, formulating new approaches and developing comprehensive implementation and improvement strategies.Demonstrated successful experience in both the development and implementation of initiatives to improve the delivery of medical services with an understanding of the challenges of delivering primary health care across a large geographic area and diverse communities.Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement and is aware of the requirements of the national health care standards.
