The Crushing and Screening Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of all hands-on aspects of the operations of this 24-hour site. This role requires a deep understanding of crushing and screening operations, as well as strong project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure project success. Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations to create a safe working environment. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions and delays. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management. Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and adhere to company and industry specifications. Cost Control: Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible to maintain project profitability. Project Reporting: Provide regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and proposed solutions. Skills/Qualifications:
Current & Valid Manual Driver's License. National Police Clearance (validity dependant on site) Qualification in Business, Management or QM Ticket (highly desirable) 3+ years as a Project Manager within a crushing and screening environment Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Relevant qualifications (or experience) or trade background and supervisory experience Previous experience in the mining or mobile crushing industry Commercial acumen and computer literacy Drive and commitment with a high attention to detail Strong time management, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills. Establishing strong client relationships and managing those relationships on a daily basis Providing strong, effective leadership to all site personnel including daily management roster staff Identifying employee training needs and performance management Coordinate maintenance by implementing and managing a tailored scheduled maintenance program Developing and managing site specific systems and procedures. Recruitment and managing rostering of employees Incident reporting and investigation Managing site purchases and using purchasing system (PRONTO) What's on Offer:
