Our client is a cutting-edge organisation at the forefront of Generative AI, and they are searching for an ML Researcher or a ML Engineer with a passion for research to drive the R&D of advanced AI models.
This is an exciting opportunity to join them during a period of significant growth.
As an ML Researcher, your typical day will involve researching and Developing AI models.
Your commercial and academic background in AI or ML will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities: Transform and train Data Science products and ML systems Work closely with the business to ensure research is solving specific use cases Research and implement suitable ML algorithms and tools based on business requirements Create appropriate datasets and employ effective data representation methods Conduct statistical analysis and refine ML libraries and frameworks Train and retrain systems as needed We're Looking For Someone With: Research experience in both an Academic and Commercial setting is required Strong experience with a combination of Computer Vision and Gen AI Solid understanding of data structures, data modelling, and software architecture Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch Previous AI/ML Publications looked upon favourably While these roles are challenging, they offer an opportunity to join an early-stage business that operates in the main growth area of AI for the next couple of years.

Please note: Remote/WFH for the role, East Coast location preferred.
The head office is based in Brisbane.
If based outside of Brisbane travel will be required a couple of times a year.
