Join Minor Hotels ANZ in our Pre-opening team for our brand-new property in the Brisbane CBD. Our Building and Facilities Manager will be responsible for the daily presentation and operational efficiency of the property with a key emphasis on maximizing growth and profitability. In addition, this role involves assisting with overseeing Body Corporate matters and fostering positive relationships with owners and residents, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed promptly.
Key Responsibilities Include: Supervision of (but not limited to) electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services and approved contractor works. Supervision of all common area cleaning, repairs and maintenance in accordance with the Caretaking agreement. Preparation of (but not limited to) building reports, plant and services schedules. Allocate all owner and body corporate expenses to the appropriate area pursuant to Building Manager Agreement Management Group at all times in all dealings with owners, tenants, staff and body corporate. Maintain an extensive knowledge of the building by-laws, in addition to the duties and obligations contained in the Caretaking agreement. Report all breaches of the building by-laws to Owners Corporation. Qualifications To be successful will require the following skills and experience:
Extensive operational and financial management experience within a Hotel environment. Strata management experience preferred. Strategic business acumen and commercial business knowledge. A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses. The ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff. Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication. A strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays if required.
