ABOUT THE ROLE
King's Community Church is seeking to employ a Ministry Intern to teach and disciple the families that attend our weekly service. The role of Ministry Intern is ideally suited to a student at Bible College who has an interest in School Chaplaincy as part of their training and preparation for ministry. Depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate, the Ministry Intern will have opportunities to minister at King's Community Church on Sunday mornings in addition to opportunities to minister at some of our weekly Chapel services in the Senior School.
On Sunday mornings, the Ministry Intern will primarily assist with running a children's program, with opportunities on Monday evenings or Wednesdays during the day, for the Intern to assist in our weekly Chapel services.

To be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate how you meet the following:
A history of teaching children in their faith in either a school or church context.A proven ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with families.Previous School and/or parish-based ministry experience is highly desirable.Formal qualifications in Education would be an advantage.Formal qualifications in Theology or a willingness to undertake further studies. You may even be studying Theology and looking for a paid ministry position to support your studies. ABOUT US
