Temporary or Ongoing (35 hrs. per week) Sydney/Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available Clerk Grade 7/8, base salary ( $106,025 - $117,363 ), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role This role is a key part of a ministerial and parliamentary services team, which provides coordination and support to line areas and divisional leads to ensure the flow of high quality and timely advice is provided to ministerial offices. The Ministerial Liaison Officer works closely with other team members to ensure that parliamentary and ministerial support is timely and the interface between the department and the ministerial offices is well managed. What you'll do In this role you will: Prepare, coordinate and review parliamentary material, including House Folder Notes, Parliamentary Questions, Notices of Motion speeches, Standing Order 52 responses, Budget Estimate Notes and Cabinet advice. Develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with colleagues across the department and related agencies' allocation teams, to ensure ministerial and parliamentary requests are met and service delivery is efficient and appropriate. Exercise sound judgement and critically analyse complex information within strict timeframes. Assist with the administrative needs of MAPS work, including oversight of shared inboxes, registering matters in TRIM / MiniApp, and tracking of work matters. Undertake other relevant tasks as required by the Senior Ministerial Liaison Officer, Manager and Director.
