We are enriching the communities in which we live and operate, and we do so safely and sustainably.As part of our rapid growth trajectory, we are seeking a Mining Superintendent to support our Mining Leaders in the day-to-day management of their teams. Reporting to the Mining Manager (and acting as their delegate on opposing rostered swings), you will have previous Mining Leadership experience, be a strong communicator, approachable and a passionate leader of people.ResponsibilitiesProvide senior site-based leadership and management of the integrated dry-mining operations, clearing and rehabilitation to achieve the company performance objectives.Demonstrate exceptional safety leadership.Manage execution of contracts in accordance with delegated authorities provided by the General Manager, Operations and Mining Manager.Approval of cost and completion of progress reporting.Management of Contractors and Vendors within the Mining Department as appropriate.Develop and implement the operational plans, systems, processes and procedures to deliver day-to-day mining activities in accordance with the strategic plan and KPIs.Ongoing review of the mine plan for practicality and operability.Deliver against KPI's which include safety, environmental compliance, sustainability, production and commercial performance, people management, team development and governance.Plan and optimise mining and processing methods, grade control, plant and equipment utilisation, operational and maintenance strategies to drive efficiencies and high performance.Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales and marketing, plant operations, technical services, asset management, procurement, HR, finance, legal and other support functions.Contribute to embedding an inclusive and high performing culture underpinned by the values of integrity, trust, courage, respect and performance excellence.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEA current Quarry Manager Ticket is essential to the role.A clear understanding and experience working under the Mines Safety and Inspection Act.Experience leading high-performing Mining Teams.A strong knowledge of Planning and Compliance to Mine Plans will be important to the role.Experience working with a dozer fleet and mobile mining units will be highly desirable.Previous experience working with Mineral Sands would be an advantage but is not essential.OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUDynamic, responsive and with a can-do attitude - we find ways to make things happen together.
