About the RoleHastings Deering is searching for a motivated and customer-centric Resource Industries Sales Support Advisor.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity located in our Archerfield based Head Office.

The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:
Assist the front-line sales team with a customer-focused approach to quotes, mining equipment, and capital parts deliveries.
Manage budget performance and variations for all builds, including invoicing and processing.
Take the lead in the Tender Specification Review process, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Work in conjunction with Mining Account Managers to keep stakeholders updated on equipment build status.
Negotiate and liaise with Caterpillar in relation to commercial support and customer alignment
Obtain pricing from suppliers, liaise with shipping companies and Customs to gather necessary information.
Uphold high standards of customer service throughout all sales processes.
Provide support and coordination for complex project-style new equipment deliveries.
About YouYou will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
Experience in a similar sales coordination role within the mining or heavy earthmoving industries
Technical or mechanical experience and aptitude is desirable
Strong attention to detail, computer aptitude and time management
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a focus on customer service
Demonstrated ability to deliver high level of customer service skills with a strong customer delivery focus
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system would be highly desirable.
Knowledge of Caterpillar product range would be highly desirable
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or related disciplines would be desirable
