About The Role
Whitehaven Coal have full-time opportunities for Production Operators at Tarrawonga mine! These permanent positions involve working a rotating days & nights, Monday-to-Friday Roster with 10.5-hour shifts, and the potential for overtime.
The successful applicant for the position will either reside in the Gunnedah region or be willing to relocate. Relocation Packages and Temporary Camp Accommodation available.
What You'll Do Operate our fleet of CAT 785, 789, and EH4000 trucks. Achieve production goals while maintaining high levels of productivity. Promote and practice safe working procedures, including the use of JSAs. Uphold Whitehaven's values and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture. What You'll Bring A strong commitment to safety, a solid work ethic, and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative work environment. Experience in production mining, along with relevant competency statements or VOCs for equipment operation. Willingness to live locally in the Gunnedah or Tamworth area, or the flexibility to relocate with financial assistance. Availability to work 10.5-hour day and night shifts on a 5:2 roster.
