Position: Trainer and Assessor Location: Eliwana - Fortescue's Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.
Roster: 4 D/3 R, 4 D/3 R, 8 D/6 R - FIFO ex Perth or Busselton Fortescue is seeking a dynamic and passionate Trainer and Assessor with a strong understanding of Mining operations to join our Eliwana training Team.
Key Responsibilities Delivery of Mining Operations Training and Assessing Delivery of FMG Specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments Facilitation of classroom-based Training and Inductions Ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision Well organized and excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail Hands-on approach to teamwork, positive attitude, and superior customer service skills are essential Administrative and scheduling duties as required Qualifications and Experience Current Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment Previous comparable equipment experience Sound knowledge and understanding of Mining practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional manner Autonomous Haulage System experience (preferred but not essential) Experienced Operator on the following equipment is essential: Production Excavators Production Loaders Dozers Graders Mechanical/Electric Haul trucks Support Ancillary Equipment Intermediate/Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite Success Factors experience highly regarded About Us Be part of something big.
