As we continue to grow, we are thrilled to announce our exciting new project, Paulsens East located in the Pilbara, 2 hours west of Paraburdoo.
The remarkable achievements at this site so far have sparked an increase in our operational demands.
We now require a Mining Engineer to become a vital part of the Terra Mining Team.
About The Position The Mining Engineer will assist in the operational direction, input and advice for the safe mining of the resource while ensuring its compliance to the prescribed mine plan.
Your day-to-day activities will include but are not limited to: Development of short-term and medium-term design, plans and schedules for the mining operation.
Monitor and enhance the Production Plan's execution, sharing your insights for improvements.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reporting against KPIs and budgets.
Operations and site-based technical support.
Data management, technical analysis, and assessment.
Liaising with a range of internal and external clientele.
What We Are Seeking A highly motivated Mining Engineer who values safety and being part of a great work culture.
Minimum 1 - 4 years' open pit mining experience.
Tertiary degree - Mining Engineer (Essential).
Demonstrated understanding of drill and blast designs and techniques.
Short to medium term planning skills.
Proficiency with Deswik or Surpac is highly regarded.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills as well as the ability to drive performance.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
