About Broken Hill Mines: The Rasp Mine is an operating silver-lead-zinc mine in Broken Hill, with a large Mineral Resource and a 750,000tpa processing plant. The mine has operated for over 120 years, producing zinc and lead concentrates sold globally. The Pinnacles Mine, situated 15km southwest of Broken Hill, is known for containing one of the area's highest-grade and shallowest silver-lead-zinc deposits. Despite being largely undeveloped, small-scale historical mining has occurred over the past 120 years. Broken Hill Mines has recently acquired the Rasp Mine and secured a Joint Venture option for the Pinnacles Mine to consolidate the two operations and create a leading and long-term base metals operation.
