The Company Our client is a tier 1 contractor, that have been supplying mobile camp solutions to the world's largest energy and resource companies across Australia for over 20 years.

The Role As a site chef you will work across multiple camps in mine sites throughout Queensland including Toowoomba, Miles, Roma, and surrounding remote areas.
You will be at each site for at least 1 week, with the maximum consecutive being 3 weeks, before you are flown home for break.
Shifts are 10–12-hours and will consist of days or nights, dependant on the needs of the camp.
Night Shift: Responsible for breakfast, crib (lunch), and desserts Day Shift: Dinner preparation, smoko, and desserts Other responsibilities and duties include: Bulk Catering buffet-style services with occasional made-to-order meals Manage cooking for camps ranging from 30-500 residents.
Maintain a clean kitchen environment.
What you need To be successful for this role, you must hold a tertiary certificate within the field and also have experience working as a chef on a mine camp.
The minimum we accept is a Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
As well as your qualification, you will have your own uniform and tools, as these will not be supplied.
Uniform: Long sleeve chef jacket, long pants, steel cap ankle-high boots.
Tools: Own knives and tools of the trade.
Essential experience required: Previous experience in smaller camps and rigs.
Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
Proficient in dessert preparation from scratch.
Excellent time management skills.
Commitment to food safety standards and WPHS policies.
Personal Qualities: Strong team player.
Efficient and proactive.
Professional and cooperative attitude.
Ability to follow directions from camp managers.
You must be able to travel from Brisbane** What is on offer You will be paid an extremely competitive salary (Dependant on experience and above award rate) with the opportunity of working overtime.
