An understanding of Mining and Asset Management is critical to maximise assets and opportunity.Main responsibilitiesManage opportunities with our JV and business partners to enhance growth in miningCreate opportunities in relevant areas for PKKPE to undertake to ensure Revenue and Profit shares are maximisedDevelop and maintain maintenance schedules for all equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practicesProvide technical support and recommendations for upgrades, repairs, or replacements to ensure operational efficiencyMaintain a thorough understanding of mining industry standards, trends, and emerging technologies related to equipment and maintenance practicesPrepare and present reports on maintenance costs, equipment performance, and asset lifecycle to support strategic decision-makingDevelop strategies for optimising asset utilisation, reducing operational costs, and improving equipment life cycle managementEnsure adherence to corporate and statutory Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (OSH&E) regulations, with a focus on industry-specific standards related to mining and equipment maintenance.Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of mobile plant equipment, ensuring that all machinery meets safety standards, and that any defective equipment is promptly rectified and where required reported.What you will bring:5+ years of experience in a Project Manager role or equivalent within the mining and maintenance industry, with strong expertise in mobile plant equipmentMining capability to review and execute opportunitiesStrong communication and relationship building skillsA Trade or Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering is highly desirable but not essentialDriver's license and willingness to travel to remote sites as requiredCurrent National Police Check (or the ability to obtain one)Proven experience in maintenance planning, execution, and asset management within the mining sectorStrong understanding of relevant safety standards, industry regulations, and environmental policies within the mining and maintenance industriesDemonstrated ability to manage budgets, provide accurate reporting, and support strategic decision-makingExperience in working in remote communities with a strong understanding of working with a cross-cultural workforceHigh level of attention to detail in equipment monitoring, maintenance schedules, and reportingTo Apply:Click apply now and upload a current Resume addressing the above criteria.Application Process:All applicants will be contacted via email in the first instance to advise if progressing or if unsuccessful.
