Our Cadia operation in TRAINING & SYSTEMS, is now recruiting for the position of MINE TRAINER-DEVELOPMENT.
About the Operation Cadia is located in Central Western New South Wales, approximately 25 kms outside the vibrant regional township of Orange and a convenient three hours from the capital city of Sydney.

Who we're looking for As a Mine Trainer, you will provide, maintain and improve employee's competency levels through training and assessment to assist Cadia in safely delivering on strategic site objectives.
Your ability to work to structure, experience in stakeholder management along with ability to prioritise and think quickly on your feet, will ensure your success in the role.
Key Responsibilities Encourage Safety Programs and Newmont Values to ensure positive communication and assistance is given to others when identified or needed.
Conduct hands-on UG training using the approved training and assessment documentation.
Keep training and assessment material current by identifying and addressing any changes.
Utilize the training learning management system to analyse training gaps in current role descriptions, as per schedule or as directed by Training Supervisors, to identify areas that require training.
Carry out inductions to personnel as required, following designated induction days.
You will have a passion for compliance and process improvement and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additionally, you will be proficient in the use of MS Office and ability to operate training systems which are a requirement of the role.
You will also possess the following: Qualified with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Experience across development mining/development underground or heavy industry (preferably mining) Previous experience with Learning Management Systems, ideally Success Factors is preferred but not mandatory.
An accredited ticket in High-Risk areas such as Working at Heights etc would be highly advantageous A manual driver's licence is compulsory *Please note this is a 7/7 dayshift residential role in Orange, NSW.
