Internationally we have operations across Asia, both North and South American continents and Europe which for you, means more opportunity.Mount Isa is home to the majority of our assets in Australia and this role is based residentially in Mount Isa or on an 8/6 FIFO roster from either Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns.Mount Isa is one of the better facilitated mining towns around the country. From arts and culture to a thriving sporting community and more, it is the central hub for the surrounding area housing key government and medical services for the region and hosting events such as the largest rodeo in the southern hemisphere.About your potential new survey role:Simply put, you will be part of a team of surveyors providing reliable information for our underground mining operation.Typical activities will include:Upholding standards and speaking up to ensure you and your workmates are safe at all times.Accurately measure mine openings and stockpiles.Completion of surveys in accordance with the plan.Performing mark ups for development and production drilling, horizontal and vertical development control and stope cavity surveys.Keeping our data base up to date with current survey information.Being an integral member of the team by identifying and communicating issues that may impact work do this role you willTertiary qualification in surveying, and experience in underground mining operations.Experience in the use of Mine Surveying software and Excel.Proficient in the use of field surveying equipment.A holder of a current manual driver's return we offer an attractive roster, a competitive remuneration package, above standard superannuation and a bonus program.
