Work in a fast-paced underground mine. Our client, a global gold mining business, is seeking 3 Mine Surveyors. These roles offer a long-term and fulfilling future within our client's well-resourced site-based department.
The roles are FIFO from Perth on an 8 / 6 roster.
Responsibilities: Oversee survey markout of drill & blast rings Survey control for all related mining activities (horizontal and vertical development), end of month surveys, dig permits and emergency response plans Survey of end of month development & ore stockpiles, stope surveys, heading development, geological mapping & surface works when required. Success in these roles will come from your skills in accountability, personal organization, and forward planning, along with your passion for challenging the norm.
Minimum Requirements: Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying 1-2 years of practical experience, preferably in a fast-paced underground mine At least 3 years of experience as a Mine Surveyor within the mining sector (underground experience desirable). Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and who are currently in Australia.
The Mine Surveyor will report to the Senior Mine Surveyor and play a crucial role in supporting both underground and surface mining operations.
