About the role   Ventia are currently seeking a Mine Site Supervisor in Middlemount that is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work orders are reviewed, approved, allocated to the appropriate resource and completed within mandated timeframes, in a manner that is safe and compliant with all statutory and contractual requirements. The Mine Site Supervisor will work across a 7/7-days DIDO roster.  Work with the Asset Planner and Service Delivery Manager to establish planned preventative maintenance programs that are in line with industry best practice   Work in conjunction with the Service Delivery Manager to optimise internal resources and minimise maintenance expenditure   Supervision of maintenance activities, ensuring that works undertaken meet the objectives of the contract   Coordinate and manage maintenance staff performing planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks.   Ensure all scheduled maintenance is completed on time and within budget   Ensure that all reactive maintenance requests are expedited safely and efficiently through effective communication to maintenance personnel and Anglo American stakeholders   Develop and maintain strong harmonious relationships with Anglo American staff and site stakeholders   Compliance with all Ventia SHEQ policies and procedures   Willingness to work on the tools where required     What we're looking for   Drivers License   3+ years experience working in QLD Coal Mining   Mining Inductions / Training S123 & G2 (Essential)  White Card   Minimum 1 years experience as Supervisor in the Mining Industry (Site Supervisor, Safety or Trades related role)  Previous experience working in a maintenance capacity involving large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedules   Ability to work independently or in a team environment   Good understanding of contractual relationships and what is required to successful fulfil obligations   An understanding and commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19 by 1st March 2022 (Vaccination Certificate or Proof of Valid Medical Exemption will be required)     What's in it for you  A coherent team culture with a real sense of community, engagement and a home away from home feel.  We are committed to attracting and retaining the best and offer genuine career progression by investing in our people at every stage of their career.  We provide opportunities to upskill and train in village management, hard and soft FM and hospitality as well as opportunities for multi-skilling across different areas of our project.  We are passionate about supporting others to realize their full potential.    We offer fulltime employment, above award rates of pay, options for overtime and a variety of lifestyle rosters.
