Nature and RosterFor those keen to secure a long-term role on an 8:6 Wednesday to Wednesday roster, the site offers the following arrangements:
DIDO from anywhere in Tasmania such as Burnie, Launceston or HobartRelocate to anywhere in Tasmania with assistance (flights, storage, shipment of 1x car)The RoleReporting to the Senior Production Engineer, you will enjoy working alongside a close-knit technical services team to design, plan, and oversee drilling and blasting activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of ore.
Your duties will include:
Assist with development of stope designs.Provide input into the weekly plan.Produce drill plans for production holes, raise bores and service holes as required.Produce Charge designs and Firing plans.Provide appropriate information and assistance to operations to accurately execute engineering designs.Ensure that files are stored in an accurate and orderly manner.Your skills and experienceYou will come from a metalliferous underground mining environment.
You'll come armed with:
Relevant tertiary engineering qualification (Engineering)Experience user of Deswik and Ventsim2+ years' experience in a similar roleDemonstrated capability in effective communication, feedback and collaboration with othersThe opportunity and why applyThis is a standout opportunity to join a highly regarded mining principal in western Tasmania.
