Nature and Roster For those keen to secure a long-term role on an 8:6 Wednesday to Wednesday roster, the site offers the following arrangements:
FIFO from any major city on the east coast - travel in company time (via commercial flight). DIDO from anywhere in Tasmania such as Burnie, Launceston or Hobart. Relocate to anywhere in Tasmania with assistance (flights, storage, shipment of 1x car). The Role Reporting to the Senior Planning Engineer, you will enjoy working alongside a close-knit technical services team to develop and refine the LOM plan. Your duties will include:
Developing panel notes in collaboration with Senior Planning Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer. Drafting MPA and MCP plans for development to support planned production. Providing weekly and monthly reporting. Providing input into the weekly plan. Ensuring that files are stored in an accurate and orderly manner. Analysing actual operational performance and providing cost guidance for continuous improvement. Your Skills and Experience You will come from a metalliferous underground mining environment. You'll come armed with:
Relevant tertiary engineering qualification (Engineering). Experience as a user of Deswik and Ventsim. 2+ years' experience in a similar role. Demonstrated capability in effective communication, feedback and collaboration with others.
