To achieve this, the Mine must continue to be a competitive, reliable, high quality and timely supplier of brown coal to its customers.You will play a key role in ensuring that we achieve this objective.What you'll be doingCreate Mine Production schedules by modelling production outputs of the mine's Bucket Wheel Excavators and Travelling Stackers whilst allowing for plant outages to satisfy the needs of the business.Creation of Mine Development strategies and plans to support the scheduling functions of the team.Creation of detailed infrastructure project plans required to meet the development of the Mine as it expands.Administration and implementation of quality control systems.Understand key business risks relating to coal supply reliability.Stakeholder alignment with Strategic Planning to ensure business objectives are met.About YouThis opportunity will suit an individual who is looking to further their career and has the ability to work effectively across key succession roles and be autonomous in all required functions associated with the role.What you'll bring to the tableA mine engineering/civil qualification or similar experience in heavy industry or in a continuous mining operation.Ability to interpret mine plans in order to develop the appropriate civil project drawings.Ability to develop and implement complex Mining principles and excavation processes.A high degree of competency in the use of CAD techniques and systems.Proven interpersonal skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders.Applications close on Monday 20 January 2025.Inclusion at AGLAt AGL, we value diversity and welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals with disabilities, culturally diverse individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
