Ida which is truly second to none.About the role:As the Mine Geologist, you will be responsible for providing geological expertise with identifying, mapping, and designating material classification and characteristics to maximise ore recovery in our open pit. Further to this, you will help to continually refine and improve the forward-looking geological models and positively contribute to the accuracy of mine planning grade and tonnage forecasting.Your duties will include:Assisting with grade control drill programs, including daily management, drill planning and scheduling, liaising with grade control drillers, and data validation.Interpretation of the deposit's mineralisation, lithology and structure by in-pit mapping and sampling.Understand, document, and communicate the geology of the open pit mine.Work with technical services to extract mineralised domains in a way that mitigates superfluous dilution and maximises recovery, while achieving production targets.Design ore blocks, conduct ore mark outs, ore spotting and bench mapping to reduce dilution, maximise recovery of ore and to ensure correct stockpile control.Collation of geological and production data and reports to assist with daily mine geological services.Provide ongoing feedback to mining and technical services on progress of targets and KPIs.Maintain communication, including daily, weekly and monthly tracking of ore movements.Qualifications & Experience:BSc (Geology) or equivalent.WA Australian Driver's License C Class or equivalent.Minimum 2 years in a similar role.Proficiency with GIS and 3D modelling software and database systems – Leapfrog, Deswik, acQuire.Understanding of QAQC procedures, drilling and sampling practices and standard gold industry laboratory analytical methods.Benefits of joining Aurenne Group:Access to free employee assistance programAccess to salary packaging optionsShort-Term and Long-Term IncentivesShort commute to siteBrand new camp facilitiesIn-house catering staff
