Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer 2 Year Planning, you will be involved in engaging and aligning stakeholders across the business, detailed mine designs for medium term horizon (2 - 5 years), project work including data analysis and supporting the 2 Year Planning Scheduler.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce and/or review designs for operational execution and scheduling.Support and contribute to the 2 Year Mine plan process.Contribute to design processes, procedures and QAQC systems.Cost analysis of mine infrastructure plan and design.Cross-train and fulfill other mine planning functions as required.Contribute to ongoing site improvement initiatives and projects.Work collaboratively with Strategic and Operations Planning to produce effective and executable designs.Qualifications and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in a mining industry related discipline or equivalent operational experience.Previous experience in open pit (preferably Hard Rock) mining.Exposure to Mine scheduling desirable.Competent in mine design software such as Vulcan.Analytical mindset with previous exposure to cost benefit/analysis.Intermediate level for MS Office products including MS Excel, MS Word, Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps.About UsBe part of something big.
