In April 2023 the Dugald River Solar Farm began operations, supplying a third of the mine's power, and reducing emissions by 33% and this is just the start of its renewable energy transition.Dugald River employs around 750 employees and contractors on a mix of fly-in, fly-out and local residential basis. The village provides all the amenities including a gym, with a women's only area, a tennis court, swimming pool, walking track and entertainment area.Mine Control SupervisorReporting to the Mine Technical Services Superintendent, you will lead the Mine Control Team, ensuring high data capture and validation standards, using best practices when operating the Mine Control software, coordinating team activities, and communicating with other stakeholders to maintain high-quality output.This role will be based on an 8/6: 4/3 roster with drive in drive out (DIDO) from Cloncurry or Mt Isa or fly in fly out (FIFO) from Townsville or Brisbane.Qualifications Skills and Competencies:Advanced user of Micromine Pitram, including reporting and DOME functionsPrevious exposure to SAP and SCADAComputer literacyintermediate MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPointUnderstanding of Underground Mining operationsUnderstanding of reporting requirements and systemsPrevious experience as a Mine ControllerPast supervising or leadership role experience is favourableKey responsibilities will include:Manage the Mine Control team to ensure total and continuous coverageIdentify skill and knowledge gaps in the team and provide adequate in house or external training and support theteam by providing assistance as required on a daily basisManage software licence renewals, software upgrades and relationships with software providersFacilitate and coordinate any software maintenance and upgrades with ITEnsure products used are fit for purposeEnsure data capture quality is maintained and records are completeEnsure consistency in data captureEnsure Time Usage Models are maintained and used appropriatelyUndertake data validation and quality control processes to ensure consistent reportingManage reporting issues and errorsProvide assistance for end of month reportingFacilitate process improvement initiatives from other departments to drive continuous improvementWhat we offerRemuneration for this role includes a competitive salary package, annual bonus and generous local allowances for employees living in the local community of Cloncurry and Mt Isa.MMG also provides the following generous benefits for employees living in the local community of Cloncurry & Mt.
