Reporting to the Compliance Manager, your key duties will include:
Manage and support Product Development including advising regulatory requirements, product testing, test plan review and improvement change tracking.
Work with Product team on reviewing products and engineering samples/prototypes to identify regulatory/safety/usability issues and provide solutions.
Maintain product compliance and quality within company guidelines for electrical (Inc. battery), hand tools, accessories, and combustion engine powered products.
Maintain compliance documentation and database.
Conduct product construction checks to ensure product is compliant and performance meets substantiated claims.
About you
Technical background, Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical qualified and/or relevant industry experience.
Knowledge and passion in power tools, garden tools, and home appliances is highly desired.
Previous experience with product compliance and experience in regulatory compliance and product safety from a supplier perspective is highly desirable.
A solid understanding of the Australian consumer law and the regulatory requirements.
