About the Opportunity
The role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of company-shaping strategic programs and initiatives across the ANZ region.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to seek out quality information at the right time, this role will work with stakeholders to transform data into key insights and recommendations that facilitate informed decision-making and support the business in achieving its long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyse data to identify trends and develop KPIs.
Create analytical models for data analysis, detailed reports, and dashboards to track supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, on-time delivery, inventory levels, supplier performance) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Support business users with accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and collaborate with sales and marketing to align stock with demand, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
Assess and manage suppliers' insights based on performance, contracts, and help the business resolve supplier issues to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
Analyse supply chain related costs (e.g., delivery, transportation costs, etc.
), route optimisation, and coordinate with logistics providers to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce expenses.
Monitor supply chain expenses and support budget planning through cost-benefit analyses, finding savings opportunities.
Skills and Experience Required
3+ years' experience in Supply Chain analytics or process improvements through leveraging key business analysis and advanced analytics (modelling) techniques (SWOT, Decision Modelling, Balanced Scorecard, Prototyping, understanding of S&OP, etc).
Experience in building and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
Ability to influence decision-making processes and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to elicit, document, and manage business requirements through to delivery.
Strong understanding of supply chain metrics of the retail industry and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy for valuable insights delivery.
Insights delivery through creative visualisation for storytelling and experience working with visualisation tools, QlikSense (Preferred) or Tableau or PowerBI.
