Mills Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join an Australian-owned Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management (EPCM) business that operates across multiple industry sectors.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of steel fabrication and construction projects.
You'll drive operational excellence, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities: Manage day to day operations in steel fabrication and construction.
Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
Optimise resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align deliverables.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a safety-first culture.
Serve as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
Prepare and manage operational budgets and financial reporting.
About You: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in project management and EPCM frameworks.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Deep understanding of steel fabrication processes and industry standards.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Demonstrated track record of managing large-scale projects.
