We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Mill Production Operator to join our team in St Arnaud.

The key responsibilities for this position include: Comply with relevant OHS/WHS legislation including:
Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of persons who may be affected by their actions (or omissions).Co-operate with any reasonable instruction, policy and procedure.Not intentionally (or recklessly) interfere with, or misuse anything provided at the workplace in the interests of health, safety or welfare; andIdentify and report all hazards, near misses, injuries, illnesses and incidents.Behave in a manner that demonstrates care for others and Ridley product and property.Quality Attend and participate in all relevant training and personal development.Actively participate in planned site meetings.Compliance with relevant HACCP requirements, ensuring activities comply with the program and assisting to manage the maintenance of HACCP accreditation.Understanding and awareness of Feedsafe, ensuring activities comply with the program and assisting to manage the maintenance of Feedsafe accreditation.Participate in site Continuous improvement program.Production Ensure all aspects of the manufacturing process are planned and executed within the acceptable tolerances and to site targets.Filling and packaging 10kg boxes or Mouse Cubes.Empty storage silo of finished product into designated tote bins.Prepare and fill bulk bags of finished feeds.Accurate inventory reconciliation and reporting to site management.Ensure at all times that the plant and equipment meet specified standards and are in safe working condition.Report staff and workplace issues to Site Manager when they occur focusing on continual improvement.Any other responsibilities and/or Authorities as specifically designated by Site Manager or Delegate.Identify and report non-conformances as per Ridley process.Unload incoming raw materials and products.
Load outgoing finished products.Check off and verify incoming products and materials.Prepare outgoing branch transfers to other sites ensuring weights/use by dates/condition meet expectations.The key requirements of this role include: Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation.Be able to work shift work and overtime.Have good communication skills.Physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks.Be able to work in a team environment to meet all targets.Be reliable and motivated.Sound computing skills.
