Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents across 3 East Arnhem wards.The ideal candidate must have an understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination; an understanding of the issues faced by Yol?u people living in remote settings; knowledge and experience working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services; demonstrated ability to provide effective high-level leadership, management and organisational skills including a high level of comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure effective clinical and program management; minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse/Health Professional/Practice Manager and in a similar role with a similar community population demographic and service profile.Vaccination & Immunity ScreeningMiwatj Health is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all workers and users of its healthcare centres.
