Milingimbi Primary and Population Health ManagerThe Primary & Population Health Centre Manager will provide effective and sustainable management of all Milingimbi Primary and Population Health Centre operations including determining, developing, and implementing strategies to manage gaps and risks associated with all aspects of both operational and clinical services.

The Primary & Population Health Centre Manager will support the Director of Nursing and Midwifery (DONM) to implement strategic directions, contemporary models of care, and continuous quality improvement activities with a focus on change management, service integration, and community engagement.
This role is responsible for clinical leadership, operations, performance, and continuous quality improvement whilst working within a culturally safe framework.

Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents across 3 East Arnhem wards.
With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, Miwatj also manages a Corporate Office in Darwin, 7 fixed clinics across the East Arnhem region, and dedicated outreach teams who travel to 3 additional locations.
The ideal candidate must have an understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination; an understanding of the issues faced by Yolngu people living in remote settings; knowledge and experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services; demonstrated ability to provide effective high-level leadership, management, and organisational skills including a high level of comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure effective clinical and program management; and a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse/Health Professional/Practice Manager in a similar role with a similar community population demographic and service profile.
