As a Migration Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our lawyers in delivering high-quality migration services to our clients.Your daily tasks will include:Assist Lawyers and Clients: Provide administrative support to lawyers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality migration services to clients.Manage New Enquiries: Handle initial client enquiries, gather relevant information, provide quotes under supervision, and ensure timely, clear communication with prospective clients.Liaise with Stakeholders: Coordinate with clients, employers, government bodies, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth migration processes and resolve any issues.Support Visa Application Preparation: Assist with drafting, organising, and lodging visa applications, as well as preparing detailed correspondence and documentation required for migration matters.Maintain Accurate Records: Open, manage, and close client matters, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and stored within the firm's system in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Provide Client Support: Ensure clients are informed and supported throughout their migration journey by responding to queries and proactively updating them on their application's progress.Participate in Professional Development: Engage in training programs to enhance knowledge of migration law, stay updated on regulatory changes, and maintain high service standards.Assist with Marketing Initiatives: Support the firm's marketing efforts, such as promoting the firm's migration services and attracting new clients.General Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence, to support the efficiency and effectiveness of migration services.Qualifications and Skills:Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating maturity and the ability to work independently.Strong interpersonal skills, dedication to client service, and a positive attitude.Exceptional attention to detail, with proven problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 suite and willingness to adapt to new technologies.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to streamline processes.Ability to speak Portuguese preferable.Experience with Migration Manager is an advantage.Experience with LEAP is an advantage.In addition, you will be a part of a cooperative team in a professional and friendly environment that encourages personal growth.
