This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 8-hour Day Shift (6:00am - 2:00pm) with overtime optional. Location: Forrestdale, Perth
Hourly Rate: $37.20 to $40.50
RESPONSIBILITIES Manufacture goods to the customers' requirementsTasks include interpret technical product drawings, MIG welding using mild steel and silicone bronze.Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Operate plant and mobile equipment, including overhead cranes.Collaborate with team members, other departments and projectsParticipate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipmentMaintain a clean and organised work area Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environmentABOUT YOU Essential - Welding experience of mild steel, galvanized products in both light and heavy gaugesEssential – At least 2 years relevant experience working in a production environmentDesirable – AQF Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication) Commitment to producing quality productsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong mechanical aptitude with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailSound awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts and peopleWillingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and paceABOUT WEST COAST SHEET METAL West Coast Sheet Metal is part of the Stratco group, a dynamic, national leader in the manufacture and marketing of building and home improvement products.
