Midwife Unit Manager, Maternity Group Practice Nurse 6, Remuneration Package Range $145,403 - $152,747 NT Health, Division of Women Children and Youth Ongoing vacancy in Darwin The midwifery group practice (MGP) provides a high standard of contemporary midwifery care in a team/on call midwifery model.
The Midwife Unit Manager provides a recognised reference point and consistent broad level of influence regarding service planning and delivery to multidisciplinary clinicians across a defined practice area.
The MGP midwives work in small teams providing care co-ordination to women with pregnancies complicated by psychosocial and/or obstetric risk, as well as women planning a homebirth.
There are five teams within the MGP and midwives will be required to provide collaborative care and support across all teams including home birth and maternity services within the division.
