As a Registered Midwife, you will be providing care and support to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Your main duties will span across prenatal care, labour and delivery, post-partum care, health promotion and education, and working in close collaboration with other healthcare professionals, such as obstetricians, paediatricians, and nurses.
The maternity suites are designed on the contemporary labour/deliver/recover model and fitted with state-of-the-art technology, including K2 fetal monitoring systems, and provide a variety of resources that can be used during childbirth including a bath for water immersion, birth balls, mats and stools. The maternity unit takes great pride in the strong team-work ethic, commitment and flexibility to support each other through the challenges of modern maternity complexities.
