This is an open-ended Recruitment Pool for suitably qualified Registered Midwives. Across country WA, there are 18 birthing sites across 7 regions. A range of care models including Midwifery Group Practice services. WACHS provides unique opportunities to midwives with all levels of experience, providing incredible roles in the regions. Permanent Full or Part time, Fixed Term Full or Part time and Casual, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. There are opportunities to practice (once credentialled) as an endorsed midwife (EM) or as an endorsed privately practicing midwife (EPPM) at select sites. Position Profile: The primary responsibility of the Midwife is to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based midwifery care for clients within the scope of practice of a Midwife. To provide clinical supervision for Newly Qualified Midwives and students, depending on level of experience.

Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months.
