Salary Range:Commensurate with experience-Graduate $84,077 to Proficient 8 $121,092 FTE Gross per annum plus Tier 2 allowance or substantive salary

Mount St Bernard College, Herberton Mount St Bernard College is located at Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. Established in 1921 by the Sisters of Mercy as a day and boarding school, the College enjoys a proud history and a rich tradition.
The college has approximately 200 students, 64% of which are First Nations Students, with a combination of boarders and day students.
About the Role The role of the Middle Leader Engagement Year 11 & 12 is to support the mission of the College by improving outcomes. This role has a focus on the creation of a culture that promotes learning and requires implementation of Tier 1 and 2 interventions to improve student attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and engagement as part of the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) offered at Mount St Bernard College.
With a lens focused on the principles of Positive Education, this role works directly under the (Middle Leader) Instructional Leader- Behaviour and Engagement and is responsible for supporting students and teachers to improve engagement at the College through the implementation of evidence-based Tier 1 and 2 interventions. Data will be regularly analysed to measure the impact of the intervention strategies.
As a Teacher you will:
Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate.
