Magdalene Catholic College Magdalene Catholic College is a systemic co-educational high school in the Macarthur region within the Diocese Wollongong.
Established to support the communities around Camden, Picton, Narellan and the Oaks, the College is now in its 26th year of operation.
The College has 1160 students from Years 7-12.
The College provides a learning environment which places students at the centre.

A permanent full time position commencing 31 January 2025.
The successful applicant will be required to lead a team of committed professionals in the HSIE Faculty.
The role of Middle Leader exists to support the Principal in implementing the College vision and mission, to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students and assist the College Executive in the conduct and organisation of the school.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria: Has a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
Demonstrates a commitment to academic excellence and a sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to pedagogy including the nature of assessment and differentiated learning.
Builds a learning culture of shared responsibility for quality teaching and student learning growth, informed by data.
Displays an ability to lead learning and foster innovation and creativity in a collaborative environment.
Has a comprehensive understanding of NESA requirements and a proven ability to implement effective teaching programs.
Knowledge and understanding of requirements of all courses within the relevant KLA.
Proven success in Stage 6 HSIE.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA Ability to teach Religious Education and/or Studies of Religion I and/or II.
The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role: Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organisational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS Appropriate qualifications for teaching courses within the HSIE KLA to HSC Level.
Level C Accreditation aligned in accordance with to 'Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong' policy or a commitment to gain within the first contractual period.
NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE This role is classified as child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.
